Retreat to La Flor

Our two cabins will be ready for rent mid-February, 2021. Able to accommodate seven people each, we designed these to be cozy yet functional with a spacious bathroom, small kitchen, dining and living room.  A private porch overlooks bird-filled trees, neighborhood cows and on sunny days, the surrounding mountains.  We hope you find these to be the perfect place to bring family, a wonderful place to work remotely (great wifi available) or to just get away from the more-trampled areas of Costa Rica while still being within 20-45 minutes of many fabulous tourist attractions.

Rentals available with a minimum two-night stay.  All-meals included available if desired.  We'd also be happy to help with guiding or travel plans around the region.

Follow our vision and progress below.

Our tile guy, Jesus, works magic: he is doing an amazing job with all the different tile work we have in house.

Each cabin will have different paint, tile and furniture to make them feel unique.  Even our kiddos have chimed in on some of the colors they like (or don't!) as we make our selections.

The kitchen windows overlook lush trees and a beautiful blue sky.

Our initial blueprint: designed to be spacious and comfortable.  Two bunkbeds instead of one in bedroom #1.

Lots of windows: we wanted lots of natural light, so all sides of the house have large screen windows.

Excited to find beautiful tree trunks for the columns of the front porch.

Not everyone will be excited when the construction finishes up: our daughter and sons of several of the construction team are loving the giant piles of sand and gravel left at the site.
